This was a more open-ended project, letting us combine inputs and outputs without being specifically guided to fix a problem or lead to a certain end.
For my project, I created a mirrored lightbox that would change colors dynamically through 2 means:
- Slowly making rainbow waves in random orders
- If something is 'detected' right above the box, the color can be changed manually depending on how high the object is.
As someone who is fascinated with projects that play with electronics, color, and movement or music, this was a perfect playground for my first hands-on electronic project. This also let me come to a solution/product completely on my own.
